Taylor and his brothers decided to stay on the west coast a little longer than normal this tour. He couldn't complain though. The fresh ocean air and bright sunshine worked wonders on his less-than-pleasant mood.

Finally having some time off, Taylor walked along the boardwalk he happened upon earlier that day and found it to be so amazingly vintage. There was a look about the place that made him want to stay there forever yet he couldn't explain why he felt that way. It was odd, but reassuring at the same time. Time. That's the best way to describe the boardwalk and it's inhabitants- it's lack of concern for the proper decade. The whole place looked as though it was stuck in the 80s, but remarkably in good condition. Even the people seemed to be happy without their iPods and cellphones. They walked around in a daze from one carnival ride to the next, enjoying the atmosphere. It was unlike anything he had ever seen before. Who knew that a little town outside of San Jose, California would hold so much intricate splendor?

Taylor breathed deeply, taking it all in, never wanting to leave. He knew he would have to eventually as they had only made the pit-stop there to fix a tire on the tour bus. Once it was back in shape, they'd be on the road again and this city would just be another faded memory in the back of his mind. He could stay here forever though, and what he saw next only further reassured that idea.

There she was standing on the antique carousel holding onto the golden pole as the ride went round and round again. Her dark brown curls blew in the breeze, her eyes closed listening to whatever sounds surrounded her. Her long multi-colored skirts waved with the speed of the carousel and she looked like something out of a movie. Taylor took a mental picture of her standing there in that one surreal moment. She was how he would forever remember this place.
