“We
shouldn’t be here, Star.”
She
didn’t answer me. I followed her back down into that cave. I had no idea what
we were doing there, but as we continued the memories came flooding back.
We
entered the sunken hotel and chills ran down my spine. I could see their
contorted faces in the back of my mind.
The
nightmare was behind us now, but for some reason she could not move on.
She
picked up a piece of the broken bottle that had once held David’s blood.
“Let’s
go.” I commanded.
“No,
Michael.” She replied sadly. “I can’t let go.”
