Title: Tulsa Tricks: Prologue
Present Day
The brothers new that this was it. There had been tragedy after tragedy as of late and this would be the ending to it all. There was a 50/50 chance that this could be the final bow, yet they trudged on. How they got from living life on the top to losing everything in such a short period of time no one could fathom, but now they had absolutely nothing to lose.
Taylor, Isaac, and Zac Hanson wandered through the cornfields of the Shephard farm on Halloween night. It was a typical October evening with a full moon and a stinging chill in the air, but this was far from being a concern of the brothers. They were on a mission to put a stop to this disastrous series of events by meeting their opponents face to face. They were supposed to be waiting for the brothers at their sacred spot and that’s precisely where the boys were headed. Instead of handing out candy to little goblins and witches in celebration of the spooky holiday, Isaac, Taylor and Zac were making their way to a church at the far end of the property.
Practically a historic landmark, the church was built over a century ago. It was on it’s last leg, but somehow it managed to not cave in and fall to the ground. It’s said that the spirits of the dead who were buried at the graveyard next to it haunted the place. But the brothers knew who it was that truly haunted it. Ghosts may not have inhabited the place, but evil sure as hell did.
Dried up and crackling corn husks rolled underneath their feet as they reached the outside of the graveyard. The gray church hid behind a wall of gnarled trees and brush but it’s macabre appearance, lit up even more by the night sky, gave it away. Their breaths caught in their throats at the sight of the decaying building and the faint orange light that illuminated the trees surrounding it.
This was it, time to put a stop to the magical madness that had been plaguing the brothers for weeks. It was now or never and without saying a word, the brothers entered the church. A swarm of evil vibes engulfed them as they pushed open the rotten wood doors. There they stood amidst an alter dripping with blood and candle wax. The wicked ones stared back at them with dark, hollow eyes. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac glanced at each other apprehensively, all taking deep breaths in unison before stepping forward to meet their doom. It was three against three and there was no way everyone was going to make it out of that church alive.
